Andrius Barstys is Co-Founder, Chairman and Partner of Capitalica Asset Management, a licensed Baltic investment management company focused on real estate and alternative investments. He has nearly three decades of experience in capital markets, asset management, investment banking and real estate.
Under his leadership, Capitalica has grown into one of the leading real estate investment platforms in the Baltics, managing a diversified portfolio of office, logistics and retail assets and developing landmark projects across the region. Among its flagship developments is VERDE in Riga, one of Latvia’s greenest and most modern business districts. Capitalica is also expanding in Riga with a new Lielirbes Street mixed-use district in Pārdaugava, planned as a residential-led urban quarter with commercial, public and community infrastructure. The project is expected to exceed 100,000 m² and require around EUR 300 million of investment, bringing Capitalica’s total investment volume in Riga close to EUR 500 million.
Prior to co-founding Capitalica, Andrius was Executive Chairman of FINASTA Bank and FINASTA Group, one of the leading Baltic investment banking, wealth management, pension fund and asset management platforms.
Andrius holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Kaunas University of Technology and has pursued executive-level studies at London Business School and the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, including a specialised programme in Financial Technology. In addition, he is a licensed financial broker-consultant, combining formal academic credentials with extensive professional qualifications in capital markets and investment management.
