DAUNIS AUERS

Daunis Auers (PhD, University College London) is a professor at the University of Latvia, director of the privately funded LaSER (Latvia’s Strategy and Economic Research) think tank and serves on the Latvian president’s National Competitiveness Council. His research interests are in the comparative politics and regional competitiveness of the Baltic and Nordic states. He has been a Fulbright professor at the University of California-Berkeley and the University of Washington in Seattle, and a Baltic-American Freedom Foundation Scholar at Wayne State University in Detroit.
