ELINA EGLE

Elīna Egle has over 20 years of leadership experience in national and sectoral business organizations. She is Co-Founder and Chairperson of the Federation of Security and Defence Industries of Latvia (FSDI Latvia), Board Member of the competence centre “DefInno,” and an expert with the NATO DIANA Accelerator Programme. Previously, she served as Adviser to the President of Latvia on economics, entrepreneurship, and employment, and as General Director of the Employers’ Confederation of Latvia. She represents Latvia’s defence and security industries in negotiations with national stakeholders, NATO, the European Commission, and the European Defence Agency, and has extensive international experience through the UN’s International Labour Organisation. Elīna is also a co-founder of several NGOs, including Women for Security and CSR Latvia, and actively promotes Latvia’s defence and security sector.
