Karolis Sarunas is Head of Expansion at Fuse, a hybrid living operator running formats from shared apartments to PBSA and aparthotels. Fuse is operational in Riga and Budapest, with a pipeline in Vienna and Poland’s main student cities. The platform builds its community through activities outside the properties rather than inside them, including in cooperation with another group company, Socials, the platform international students join before they land, connecting a million relocating students a year.
Previously, Karolis was Fund Manager developing PBSA projects across CEE under the ShED brand, taking schemes through acquisition, financing, construction, and mobilisation across 1,500+ beds.
