PETER ELAM HÅKANSSON

Peter Elam Håkansson is Chairman and Group Chief Investment Officer of East Capital Group, a global asset manager based in Sweden with expertise across equities, fixed income and real estate investments. Since founding the firm in 1997, he has led investments across the Baltics, Central and Eastern Europe and other high-growth markets. Under his leadership, East Capital Real Estate has become a leading real estate manager with an investment volume of EUR 611 million across 35 buildings. Peter is also a founder and principal owner of Eastnine, one of the Baltics’ top listed commercial real estate companies focused on premium office properties. He is a five-time recipient of the Morningstar and Dagens Industri Gold Star for best fund manager and has also received numerous Lipper Awards.
