Architect Reinis Liepins is a founder of architecture office ‘Sudraba arhitektūra’ (1998) and one of those rare experts who has been able to combine a fine approach to architectural heritage with the needs of his contemporary clients.
By working on a building of high historical importance, he has been able to find and preserve authenticity while turning the place into culture buildings, concept hotel or private house. One of Reinis’ latest and most notable works is Hanzas Perons, a transformation of a former warehouse station into a new venue for art and culture.
Currently, Reinis Liepins is working on the renovation of Riga Castle – the National History Museum of Latvia.
